Tara Judelle is back for more this Spring! Due to popular demand, Tara will be offering another 5 day Immersion (30hrs) into the world of Embodied Flow. Get in early as this event will sell out as it has in the past! I will be assisting for the entire event so please join us in this gathering of embodiment and exploration.

Praise for Tara's Immersions:

"Whether you have had an immersion before or not, completed more advanced trainings or not, what I love about the immersion is that we get to reconvene in time space and share time meditating, contemplating, practicing, flowing, sharing ideas together. We get to immerse in a group mind happening and advance the conversation together. And for that I am deeply hopeful that veteran students will return to share their energy, input and advanced."

Embodied Flow™ Immersion: Liquid Body

Embodied Flow is a continuum of movement and expression drawing from the discoveries of hatha, tantric and somatic movement systems to experience yoga as a living art form. Both philosophy and method, Embodied Flow training and practice
provide the technology and pathways to a deep sense of ease, strength and connectivity in the human form, empowering practitioners to be their own greatest
teacher. Our aim is to allow for greater agency, flexibility resilience and flow as facilitating awareness in their entire body-mind, to experience and remain connected to
the unified field.

This immersion is designed for those Embodied Flow™ practitioners who have either previously taken an immersion, studied with an Embodied Flow affiliated teacher, have
experience with the world of somatics, or those practitioners that wish to deepen the conversation of yoga.

The days are planned to further the experience of meditation, free movement, asana, and skillful flow between the three aspects of movement in the liquid body. About the experience
Immersions are intended to create a comprehensive dive into the landscape of Embodied Flow™.

The content of this immersion is designed to expand the felt since of flow by integrating the principles of Embodied Flow into the sense of being a Fluid being in a fluid matrix.
The mornings start with journaling, meditation, and asana, and free movement. Afternoons, we’ll break down the methodology, philosophy and create a laboratory for
exploring new material. The immersion utilizes the mind of the group to create a unique expression of the
material, that will change and evolve as the group does.

Topics covered will include but are not limited to:

•Developmental pathways, (embryological, evolutionary)
Fluids
•Kinespheres
•Planes of dimensionality
•Fascial lines
•Tantric Philosophy
•and continuation of topics covered in earlier meetings of the material

Every immersion is a co-creation between the facilitator and the participants with the intention to move the entire group mind deeper into conversation with the Self.
Experienced practitioners are invited to come and participate from where they now sit in the conversation, and newer practitioners are invited to meet the experience where they are at.

*The immersions count towards continuing education points with the Yoga Alliance.

Location: Siteworks, Brunwick, Melbourne: http://www.saxonstreet.com

They can be used to differentiate TCM physiology, pathology, and treatment plan. Each element corresponds to a specific emotion and an individual TCM organ.

The Earth element is affiliated with the worry or rumination emotion. When our minds are busy over-thinking it hinders us from being grounded and impairs harmony between the mind-body connection. The earth element is also associated with the spleen (not the same as Western medical spleen), which has to do in part with the digestive system. A person with a poor digestive system usually cannot think clearly, hence the importance of a well functioning spleen. When the spleen is working properly it means the earth element is being sufficiently nourished so that the mind can remain grounded. This enables us to reduce stress, keep life in perspective when it gets tough, and can help maintain optimal physical health.

In this offering, we will move through some gentle movements and then transition into more yin shapes and forms to create a fluid meditative space in the vocabulary of form and into stillness, meditation and mantra.

We will move through gentle chi kong, slow flow of postures into Yin yoga and meditation. We use props and blankets and hold gentle postures for up to 2-5 minutes with some combined slow movement transitions.

***This class will be accompanied by live vocal harmonies, guitar and other instruments orchestrated and performed by musician and yogi Tully Sumner. The aim of the class it to create spaciousness for deep rest and so that we can more fully inhabit our body and parts of ourselves.

We’re ready to do something to put an end to the billion-dollar sex slave trade, but we need your support. Together let’s stand up for Freedom and get set to change lives.

WHY SUPPORT YOGA FOR FREEDOM?

1. Because Yoga for Freedom is solely run by volunteers with a whole lotta heart. Yep! We're a bunch of yogis who care deeply about the world, and who are passionate about living our yoga and spiritual practice off the mat. We're a values driven community who can ensure that 100% of the proceeds of ticket sales and donations go straight to Art to Healing & Yoga for Freedom.

2. Art to Healing, our charity partner organisation, is a heart-driven, grassroots Australian registered tax-deductible charity organisation who are also volunteer run. This means that 100% of your donations go directly to the therapeutic programs in Nepal with the women and girls who have experienced child sex slavery & exploitation. (Yes, Art to Healing has only 5% administration costs, mostly to keep the website firing! We don't have any crazy overheads.) Plus you also get a tax-deductible donation receipt (excluding ticket sales) for Fundraise for Freedom for all donations above $2.

Strip yourself into Love: Women's Sacred Body Painting and Dance Workshop.

Strip yourself into Love: Women's Sacred Body Painting and Dance Workshop.

Hello ladies! This is an entire day of fully connective, embracing self and creativity workshop.

* Meditation * Body painting * Dance *

Using ourselves as our canvas, we will draw our internal energies to the surface of our bodies through channelling healing colours, as well as the fluidity of our innate creativity. Guided by the natural shapes of our beautiful bodies - in combination with unravelling our unique inner essence, (and whatever else comes through), we'll uplift & expand ourselves through expression, art, & vulnerability.

We will take note of our ancestral tribes who have for many aeons painted themselves in ritual and connect in with this energy.

We will connect with our higher selves - Within in all of us is a goddess, warrior, healer, mother, elementals, deep ancient knowing and so on. This is an opportunity to paint ourselves in a way that will highlight our higher selves and energetically bring them more prominently in too our fields. It is like another tool or gateway into channelling our truest self, beyond the barriers of how we dress or are expected to look or feel in our normal day to day life.

The schedule will be as follows: -
12pm – 8pm
* Opening circle - meditation & warm-up activities/partner yoga
* Delving deep - Individual free flow painting in front of a mirror
* Tea/snack break
* Moving into partner painting (painting each other)
* Celebrating our beautiful paint - guided dance journey to move, express and celebrate our selves and bodies.
* Closing circle

Highlights: -
* Personal power and embodiment
* Love & attention to self
* Love and appreciation and acceptance of our vessels/bodies/appearance
* Diving deep within
* Connectivity
* Art therapy
* Self-exposure
* Self-awareness
* Safe space

This is an opportunity to feel the sensation of our skin in a new way. It may be sensual, it will definitely be completely mysterious and fun. Connecting with ourselves one on one can possibly be a confronting experience for some, but by all means will be an expansive and healing experience for us all.
Coming together to feel our feminine essence in a sacred and safe space; we soften and settle into the comfortability of our own bodies and energy, and hold space for ourselves, as we channel our own personal power. In blessing and in honour to ourselves; enhancement of the relationship with self, in whatever way that may be. Most of all this a non-judgmental space, no expectations of expression, we will be the guides but most of all, you will be your own creative guide.

There may be partial nudity but is not a requirement.

ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO BRING:
1. A medium-large mirror
3. A yoga mat or blanket
2. Towel
3. Water bottle
4. Snacks for yourself and/or to share

You are welcome to bring any sacred items of clothing or things that inspire you along to assist and enhance you and your body paint! It is not essential though, just a suggestion if you feel drawn to do so. Head decorations, colourful scarfs, pendants, crystals, images for inspiration. Anything such as this is more than welcome.

FACILITATORS:

Warriors for Women : Donation Yoga Class Edinburgh Gardens

In the last couple of months I have been tapping into the power of Deity Yoga, many wonderful teachers and teachings around me as well as the Goddesses themselves have inspired this exploration and I wish to offer you an opportunity to explore the potency of this practice for healing and transformation of the collective greater good and our individual selves.

Invoking goddess shakti isn’t only a girl thing—it’s a way for everyone to tap into the deepest source of empowerment, creativity, and happiness. –Sally Kempton.

On Wednesday, we will be meditating and drawing from the wisdom of Durga: the cosmic warrior, the force within consciousness that battles ignorance and darkness.

Durga is the power behind dramatic breakthroughs; she’s the strength you can draw on when you face challenging situations or deep backbends. “Durga rides a lion and her arms bristle with weapons, which she uses to slay an assortment of demons and other negative forces. For me, she’s also the patron goddess of the modern woman who juggles a job, children, and a yoga practice, and lives in a perpetual state of emergency while maintaining the calm of a Mona Lisa" (Sally Kempton, Awakening Shakti ).

Lets draw on the wisdom of Durga in service for our community and the wider consciousness around us, join me on a gentle slow flow in support of refugees and asylum seekers that are attempting to rebuild their lives and integrate into society.

Please bring a yoga matt, your beautiful selves and an open heart! <3
